In Case You Missed It
- Two Seats to Vegas – The $1,000 DFBC Qualifier last night awared 2 seats to Vegas for the final event last night, which added an extra element to sweat out for a few Grinders. The first seat went to cornfins and the second went to Grinders member lovesbases. Mirage888 was also in the hunt, and he just missed out by a few points, but it was a good score nonetheless. There was quite a bit of overlap in this event, as the lowest owned player for lovesbases was Rajai Davis at 17%, while the rest were 20 or more. Paying up for pitching was the way to go, as the two qualifying teams had Darvish and Tanaka.
- Rangers Hold On – The Rangers finally took a game in the Stanley Cup Finals last night, bringing the series to 3-1. It was a spectacular performance from Lundqvist, who needed to accumulate 40 saves to keep the Rangers alive for another night. They’re going to need a lot more help in that department if they have any chance to win this series though, as Game 5 will be played tomorrow in Los Angeles.
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s Action – Game 4 in the Spurs/Heat NBA Finals tips off tonight in Miami with the Spurs leading 2-1. I think everyone fully expects a Game 7 out of this series, so sit back and enjoy the show for now. Four of the eleven MLB games today are early afternoon games, which leaves a relatively poor 7 game schedule for those of use who focus maninly on the late slates. Today is a day off for those of you in the StarStreet MLB Grind, but there are still plenty of GPPs across the industry for anyone who is looking for some action.
