In Case You Missed It
- FanDuel Anounces the NHL Power Play – FanDuel is finishing off the NHL regular season with style. Yesterday they announced their Power Play tournament with $120,000 in guaranteed prizes at a $100 buy in level. The tournament will run on April 10th, and they have satellites running daily, so you can get yourself a ticket for just a few bucks. Read all about it in this post on the foums.
- Two Tickets to the Playboy Mansion Punched – Congrats to ASLsportsgroup for locking up the penultimate seat the the $500,000 PBC at the Playboy mansion. A 50 spot from LBJ and a big game from Reggie, who was filling in for the benched Westbrook helped him take it down. Also, ineedmoney23 rocked the rest of us in the FCK/CTV Challenge on StarStreet and took home the trip to the party, combined with an extra $625 in side pot money. StarStreet’s newest employee can be seen in the gif here preparing the tickets for the mail.
- Women’s NCAA Sweet Sixteen is Set – While it’s not DFS relevant (although how ridiculous would Women’s CBB DFS be??) the Women’s College Basketball fan would be angry at me if I didn’t at least mention it. The only upset of note was 7 seed DePaul taking down 2 seed Duke.
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s NBA Action – Only four games on the schedule tonight in the NBA, but there should be plenty of fantasy goodness to go around. Melo and the Knicks travel to LA to take on the woeful frontcourt of the Lakers in a game that should feature more scoring than a Friday night out with TommyG and the crew.
- Tonight’s NHL Action – Huge ten game slate on the ice for the NHL tonight,and with the playoffs right around the corner, every game counts.
- Today’s GPP’s – DraftKings is running one final qualifier to their Million Dollar Bankshot tournament tonight with a $27 buy in and 30 tickets guaranteed. For the NHL, they have the $2,500 Power Play at the $109 level and the $1k Face-Off at a buy in of $27. The FanDuel Slam is running at $60,000, with $8,500 going to first place. In NHL, they have the Goal, with $8,000 in guaranteed prizes. StarStreet is running a few satellites to their final PBC qualifier, so be sure to grab your spot before they fill. DraftStreet has GPPs running from $5-8k at buy ins ranging from $2 to $55.
