In Case You Missed It
- The End of an Era – Peter Jennings, AKA CSURam88, announced yeterday that he has decided to leave his position at StarStreet to focus on his career playing DFS professionaly. Peter and all the guys from SS are the best in the business, and he will surely be missed, but he’s leaving his duties in good hands. Josh John (Ohnjz) will be taking over Peter’s responsibilities and is already doing an excellent job. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty scared to see how much better Peter will be now that he can actually focus all of his attention on his play!
- Shake Up in the Fantasy Desert of the NFL – The New York Jets, also known as the team where fantasy players go to die, have signed Michael Vick to a one-year, $4 million contract. Looks like there’s gonna be some competition in New York, and by competition I mean Jets fans will call for Vick to start all year and Rex will just ignore them. I can sum up my feelings on this story pretty easily:
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s NBA Action – The NBA regular season is winding down, but that doesn’t mean there’s any less fantasy goodness for us to enjoy. There’s quite a few juicy matchups in the 10 game schedule tonight, including my fantasy goodness game of the day, Phoenix at Washington. Both of teams are making a run for the playoffs, so I expect them to bring their A game in a fast paced, high scoring affair.
- Tonight’s NHL Action – A really short night in the NHL, with only 3 games on the schedule, including a prime time matchup with the Flyers traveling to New York to take on the Rangers.
- Today’s GPP’s – We’ve got a massive amount of money up for grabs tonight, including DraftKings $1,000,000 Bank Shot. There are still quite a few spots open, so be sure to grab your seat for your chance at a first place prize of $100,000! Over on DraftStreet there’s the $150k Big Score, running at a $55 buy in, with $50,000 going to first. The FanDuel Slam is running tonight with a guaranteed $100k, with $15k to first place. There’s going to be a LOT of money won tonight in NBA DFS.
