In Case You Missed It
- Grinders Take Over DraftKings – Everywhere you looked last night, Grinders were dominating the leaderboard. Or to put it in terms you guys can understand: Grinders won ALL THE MONEY! There were three Showcase Qualifiers last night, and each one was taken down by not only a Grinder, but a contributor to RG. Congratulations to Al_Smizzle, CSURAM88, and DraftCheat for bringing home the Golden Tickets! Outside of the major qualifiers, our main man (and forum moderator) Waffles2003 took down first in the Moon Shot and second in the Check Swing, for a sweet $1,200 pay day. Congrats guys!
- A Bittersweet Adieu – In case you haven’t heard by now, today will be CrazyGabey’s last show on RotoGrinders. We wish him nothing but the absolute best. There isn’t a better mix of DFS analysis and general tomfoolery out there, so we know he will be successful, but we’ll miss your glorious beard every afternoon!
- Game 7’s All Around – The Rangers and the Avalance both squeaked out one goal wins in Game 7 of their respective series’. The Rangers will now move on to play the Penguins while Minnesota will travel to take on the defending champion Blackhawks. The Kings beat the Sharks in their game 7 matchup, and will travel to Anaheim to play the Ducks.
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s Action – Check this out. Both the Pacers and the Thunder could be eliminated tonight as both enter Game 6 of their playoff series’ down 3-2. The Pacers have been falling apart at the seams lately, and it should be interesting to see if they can get it together before it’s too late. There are only 8 night games on the schedule today, to go along with 3 games earlier in the day. With the weather roulette that it feels like we’ve been playing lately, one can only hope that all 8 games will actually be played tonight. The whole east coast was hit with some severe flooding though, so be sure to check in before first pitch to make sure all of the games are going ahead as planned.
- Daily Fantasy Fix Guest Interview – On today’s podcast, Dan brings on msidla, who recently won a $109 DFBC Qualifier on FanDuel. He’s one of the hottest players in DFS right now, so be sure to tune in for what should be a very interesting interview.
