In Case You Missed It
- A Surprise from/for Gabey – Gabey bared it all for us in his final RotoGrinders show. Ever wonder what the man behind the glasses looks like? Well here’s your chance to find out! Our other bearded friend, stevietpfl also had a fun little surprise for Gabey to honor his going away last night. In case you weren’t there, Stevie shaved his beard live on camera to pay homage to the bearded wonder. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s must-see TV, and I highly recommend you check it out.
- The Year of 7 – A night after we had three game 7’s in the Stanley Cup playoffs, all three 2-win teams took down game 6 in the NBA playoffs to force a game 7. The Warriors had a decent lead over the Clippers with very little time left, and despite a last minute surge, the Warriors were able to hold on for the win. Tomorrow will mark the first time in NBA history that there will be three Game 7’s on the same day. Keep your eyes peeled for a RG promo later today based around these games!
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s Action – Three more Game 6’s in the NBA tonight. Could we see three MORE Game 7’s coming? I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but it’s hard to be disappointed with how close every series has been so far in these playoffs. Meanwhile the puck drops on the next round of the Stanley playoffs tonight as the Rangers travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pens and the Wild head to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks. We also have a full day in the Major Leagues today, with every game except for the Cardinals/Cubs taking place after 7pm EST. The Rockies continue their series at home against the Mets tonight, and while they have the highest over/under on the board tonight, it’s once again a little lower than we’re used to seeing at Coors field, sitting at only 9.5.
