In Case You Missed It
- KD4MVP – In case you missed it, Kevin Durant is pretty good at basketball. The MVP votes came in yesterday, and Mr. -Un-Reliable won in a landslide with 119 first place votes to LBJ’s 6. I don’t have to tell you that KD had an absolutely incredible season, as he won many of you lots and lots of money this DFS NBA season. Could we go so far as to say that he was the best DFS player in any sport ever? Dare I even slap on the label… G.O.A.T.? If you haven’t had a chance to watch KD’s MVP acceptance speech, do yourself a favor and find a few minutes to watch it. I promise you won’t be disappointed. It’s probably one of the better speeches I’ve seen in a long, long time. He might have just become my new favorite player in any sport.
- Big Winners – All three major sites had a qualifier run last night, and we had a few Grinders take them down. Headchopper took down the $200 Showcase Qualifier to win a Golden Ticket, whits23 took down a seat to the DSBC, and 3rd_and_schlong (yes, that is indeed a ridiculous username ). These live finals are going to end up just being a Grinder’s party at this rate! Well done everyone!
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s Action – We’ve got sixteen, that’s right, sixteen games on the schedule in the Majors today, including a double header between the Mariners and the A’s. If you’re playing all day games today, make sure you know which of the two games is included in your contest! Either way there should plenty of action to keep you
degensGrinders busy all day long. Don’t expect to get much done at work today! In the NBA, Game 2 between the Wizards/Pacers and the Clippers/Thunder tip off tonight, as the MVP lead Thunder look to tie the second round series at one a piece. Sadly there is only one game tonight for you puck heads, but it should be a fun game to watch nontheless as the Rangers and Penguins square off in New York.
