Rise & Grind: Memorial Day Edition
Happy Memorial Day Grinders! First off, I would like to personally thank all you Veteran Grinders out there for the service you provide for this great nation. I hope Vet and civilian Grinders alike have a great time at your parties and BBQ’s on this wonderful holiday. And while you’re celebrating, what better way to honor the American way than by winning some cash playing DFS baseball? In Case You Missed It
- Weekend Qualifers – It was a great weekend for Grinders in the big championship qualifiers. It started Friday night with a dominating performance by our very own ehafner on FanDuel. Not only did he punch his ticket to the DFBC for a shot at a million bucks, but he also took down 1st and second in the Monster, pulling in a cool $25,000. That same night, CSURAM88 punched himself a ticket to the DraftKings championship in Atlantis for his own shot at a million. Then last night, headchopper won first and seventh in the Monster, while TheTakeOVER took second and third in the Perfect Game (an $8,500 pay day) first in the Gold Glove (an $8k pay day) and two Showcase Golden Tickets. What a weekend!
- No-Hit Beckett – The Dodgers had a no-hitter for the first time since 1996 yesterday. It was the first no-hitter of the 2014 MLB season, and it was also Beckett’s first career no-hitter as the Dodgers went on to dominate the Phillies 6-0. He finished the night with 9 IP, 3 walks, and 6 strike outs.

The early games get started at 1 PM EST with the Red Sox/Braves and Pirates/Mets, and there are only 4 games that start after 7 PM.
