Baseball season is here, and it’s one of the most research-intensive sports in Daily Fantasy. One of the most important research tools a Grinder wants to have comprising their MLB research arsenal is access to Daily MLB Lineups. You can find these MLB Lineups on several sites across the interwebs, but the problem is that these lineup pages don’t come with additional information tailored to Daily Fantasy MLB. Subsequently, you wind up with 13 some-odd tabs open in your web browser, and it becomes a bit of a hassle. Not anymore! RotoGrinders has tailored our Lineups page to the Daily Fantasy Grinder, so that you have an all-in-one experience when building your lineup. If you’re new to RotoGrinders, there are a few things you should look for on the lineup page. Here’s a quick overview:

MLB Lineups

Let’s get the obvious out of the way up-front: you don’t want players who don’t play on your Daily Fantasy team. The Daily Fantasy MLB Lineups page, at it’s core, tells you who is playing each day. Our Daily MLB Lineups page updates every five minutes as the MLB lineup data becomes available. This includes both hitters and starting pitchers. Catchers rotate in-and-out of a lineup very often, and even some of the best players in the league have regular rest days. Make sure your lineup doesn’t contain any guaranteed goose-eggs by scanning the lineups page for players taking a rest.

Site-by-Site Pricing and Positions

We know that when you’re looking at your MLB Lineups you’re building a team on one of the top daily fantasy sites. Because of that, we’ve tailored our lineups page to Daily Fantasy and conveniently placed each players’ price and position to the right of their name. At the top of the lineups page you can sort through customized pricing and positions for DraftDay, FanDuel, DraftStreet, Daily Joust, FSL, DraftZone and ProFANity Sports.

In addition, we’ve quickly indicated ways for you to pinpoint players who are either a ‘Value Play’ or possess a ‘Low Salary’ on that particular site. Value Plays will have a star icon located next to them. Meanwhile any player with a Low Salary on that particular site will have their price bolded in green font for easy identification.

Player Profile Pop-Up

Like looking at game logs and recent performance statistics? Just click the info button to the right of a player’s name (or the projected Fantasy Points for Grinders Incentives members) and you’ll get a pop-up with each player’s stats (and FPs) for the past seven games!

Player Projections

One of the cooler benefits of being a part of Grinders Incentives is that if you used our links to join a particular site, and have made a deposit to that site, then you will automatically have the RotoGrinders Player Projections located right next to the player’s name!

Baseball has a TON of stats, so our projections do the dirty work for you. The projections algorithm will be improving as the season unfolds, but already factors in important variables such as recent stats, season stats, opponent strength, batter vs. pitcher, split stats, and percentage of workload. You also have the option to sort through all player projections in your Grinders Incentives Members Area, but when building your Daily Fantasy MLB Lineup, the Grinders Lineups Page allows you to quickly scan for Value, Price and Projected Points all at one time!

Weather

With Baseball comes rain outs, weather delays and more potential goose-eggs in your lineup. The top MLB Grinders never miss a weather forecast when building lineups, and neither does Grinders. In addition to everything mentioned above, the Lineups page also allows you to analyze the weather conditions at each MLB Ballpark. Just look for the color-coded header for each ballpark. Green means you are safe to use that player. Yellow means that there is a 30-60% chance of rain and you should monitor the condition. Finally, Red means you should probably avoid this game altogether because there is a 60%+ chance of rain.

The weather forecast changes throughout the day, so make sure to click on the weather header to be taken to an external link for the most up-to-date weather info for that particular ballpark.

BVP and Left/Right Stats

COMING SOON – Any day now we will be proudly unveiling two new features to the MLB Lineups page. In addition to the ability to check a players availability, projected fantasy points, value, site-by-site cost, weather conditions, and last 7 days game log all from ONE page, we’re adding more. Yup.

Soon you’ll notice two new buttons on the Lineups page: BVP and L/R. The Batter Vs. Pitcher button will show you how each player on a team fairs vs. the opposing starting pitcher for that day. The Lefty/Righty button will show you how well each player fairs vs. the opposing pitcher’s throwing hand. This is extremely valuable info you don’t want to miss out on! Both of these tools should be live on the site during the month of April.

Thanks again to DraftDay for sponsoring the lineups page this MLB season, and best of luck to all the Grinders!
