Saints vs. Packers – NFL Player Props

Jordan Love OVER 5.5 Rushing Yards (-120, DraftKings)

Jordan Love doesn’t take off and run very often, but tonight’s matchup against the Saints could provide him an opportunity or two to escape the pocket for some easy yards with his legs. The last two weeks, New Orleans has allowed 59 rushing yards to Drew Lock and 66 rushing yards to Jayden Daniels. There is a risk that Love could lose some yards on quarterback kneels at the end of this contest, but one 10-yard run could be enough to cash this play.

Cedrick Wilson OVER 5.5 Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Cedrick Wilson has only 3 targets since the team’s Week 12 bye, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him featured in a slightly expanded role tonight given how thin New Orleans is at wide receiver on Monday. WR Chris Olave, WR Rashid Shaheed, and WR Bub Means all remain out with injuries. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is officially listed as questionable but didn’t practice at all this week. If Valdes-Scantling is ruled out, Wilson could see 20+ snaps on Monday. It’s worth noting he had 6 receptions on 7 targets in a game earlier this season with Spencer Rattler as the team’s starting quarterback, so there is proof of concept here. We likely only need 1 catch for him to get the job done.

Christian Watson OVER 49.5 Receiving Yards (-104, Bally)

Christian Watson is arguably the most talented wide receiver on Green Bay’s roster, and he’s certainly played like that in recent weeks. Since Thanksgiving, Watson has posted 56+ receiving yards in 3 consecutive games and has at least 1 reception for 36+ yards in each of those contests. Watson, finally healthy, has emerged as the team’s top downfield target. In those 3 games, Watson’s 16.5 aDOT is the highest on the team, and by a substantial margin. The return of WR Romeo Doubs limits Watson’s total snaps, but he still played 24 snaps on passing plays last week, which should be enough for him to get a few opportunities against a beatable New Orleans secondary unit this evening.
