Seahawks vs. Washington Same Game Parlay Picks & Props for Monday Night Football

Thanksgiving weekend is over, and we have one game remaining on the Week 12 slate. It’s time for Monday Night Football, where underdogs reign and over/unders are always random. We’re not touching the spread, moneyline, or total with a ten-foot pole this evening, but we will indeed be constructing another Same Game Parlay on PointsBet.

A Same Game Parlay basically just means a parlay consisting of multiple correlated wagers from one specific game. It provides bettors with good options to bet a game—and piece together props into a parlay within that game—beyond just the standard spread, moneyline, and over/under totals.

SGPs have become one of the most popular options in sports betting, and we’ve been assembling parlay bets all season. Without further ado, let’s dive right into our Seahawks-Washington same game parlay for Monday Night Football, and net some winnings for the tail end of Cyber Monday!

Seahawks-Washington Same Game Parlay

Total Odds (5 Legs): +600

Total Touchdowns Over/Under: UNDER 6.5 (-276)

Like I said at the top, I’m not interested in any part of the spread tonight, or the score in general. I’ll be going super generic, as primetime games can be like entering the Upside Down in Stranger Things. Let’s keep it safe, and bet that this evening’s contest will stay under seven total touchdowns. Seattle games have only reached seven TDs twice this season, the last time being October 3. And the last time WFT saw a seven-plus TD game was October 10. A month and a half later, the Seahawks and WFT are both playing the best defense of their respective seasons. WFT QB Taylor Heinicke still suffers from sloppiness from time to time, and veteran Seattle QB Russell Wilson has looked like a shell of his former Pro Bowl self since returning from a finger injury in Week 10. This is the safest leg of our parlay, a solid foundation to lay our remaining props on.

Total Field Goals Over/Under: OVER 2.5 (-226)

Since I’m betting that there will be fewer than seven total touchdowns, it makes sense for me to parlay that with three-plus field goals. Washington has averaged two field goals per home game this season, while Seattle has averaged right around one field goal per game on the year. WFT and the Seahawks both made two field goals their last time out, so this seems like a pretty safe bet in what should be a hard-fought contest.

Passing Yards Props: Russell Wilson 200+ Passing Yards (-375)

Here’s a secret to parlay-building: the legs don’t always have to be longshots to drive up the potential payout. Here, we have three legs that seem more than likely to hit, and we’re at +140.
My uber-conservative friends would just bet this three-way parlay and jump for joy if and when they make $240. If you like safety and small returns over risk and large returns, do just that! For obvious reasons, we generally like to include between four and six props in our columns to provide you with options and boost up your potential payout.

With all that being said, let’s talk Russ. The veteran QB and former Super Bowl champion has been struggling since his return from injury a few weeks ago. Now trade rumors have begun swirling around Seattle once again, with multiple teams popping up as candidates to acquire the future Hall of Famer. Well, first things first— Wilson will want to end the 2021 campaign on a positive note, and get the sour taste of two consecutive defeats out of his mouth. WFT’s D is ascending up, to be sure, but Washington on the whole is still inferior to the Seahawks’ last two opponents, Green Bay and Arizona. And while I don’t think Russ will cook up a four-touchdown game like he has in past primetime performances, I regard 200 yards passing as a highly achievable target. He needed just 14 completions to reach 207 yards against Arizona in Week 11, and he has averaged 223.4 passing yards per game on the season. WFT has allowed 270 passing yards per game—and 288.6 in home games—since the start of the season, both of which rank 30th in the NFL. Wilson should get back to the form we are used to seeing this evening.

Rushing Yards Props: Antonio Gibson 50+ Rushing Yards (-301)

On to the next boring but very attainable prop. Second-year running back Antonio Gibson was slated by many a fantasy analyst to enjoy a breakout campaign in 2021, but nagging injuries have limited the 23-year-old’s production. Well, he’s quietly been pretty damn good in the two games since Washington’s Week 9 bye, with 43 total carries for 159 yards and two total touchdowns. Gibson has reached 50 yards rushing in seven of Washington’s 10 games this season. In the three games in which he failed to reach that mark, he averaged just 10 carries, either due to game script (blowouts by Buffalo and Kansas City) or injury (he was physically at his worst in Week 8 prior to WFT’s bye). Game script has been good for Washington the last two weeks, and Gibson has enjoyed plenty of volume. Give this one a go tonight.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer: D.K. Metcalf (+105)

At last, you’re probably thinking, a volatile prop with a + in front of the odds! Touchdown props scare the crap out of me—and I probably won’t actually bet this one tonight—but if I’m going with any receiving prop, it’s this one. The second-year stud receiver has eight touchdowns on the year, but he hasn’t found paydirt since his two-TD performance in Week 8 against Jacksonville. I think he gets back in the end zone tonight, as his giant frame and supreme strength should be too much for WFT to contain in the red zone. Seattle has not enjoyed a solid running game like years past, so Wilson literally needs Metcalf to help move the chains and put up points. If you want to stay safe, stay away from this one. But if you want to move this parlay from good payout to great payout, take the lone risk and enjoy that reward if and when it hits.
