With MLB season all but finished, it is up to the NFL and upcoming NBA and NHL seasons to gain leverage in the Rankings. The most noteworthy move in this week’s update, has to be the addition of baseball season Shawn Childs to the RotoGrinders rankings, who debuted at #7! Shawn is a legend of sorts in the fantasy industry, with over 20 years of fantasy experience his resume is mind-blowing; most notably is probably his claim to being the 4 time NFBC Main Event League Champion. Welcome to RotoGrinders Shawn!
In addition, etoppsfan continues to close the gap on PrimeTime420 for the #1 spot. E-Topps gained about 250 point this update, leaving him within reaching distance of the ‘topp’ spot. With the NHL season now underway, multi-sport veteran Buffalo66 was able to re-gain the #3 spot from consistently dominant, college-football specialist headChopper. HeadChopper will be sharing his college football expertise in the near future with RotoGrinders members in a College Football mini-series of strategy articles, so check back soon for that! The other big move in the Top 10 was GeneralV grabbing the #5 spot from beermakersfan.
The first-ever RotoGrinders Seasonal MLB Final Standings are going to be released shortly! It should be an exciting finish, as only 30 points separates PrimeTime420 (2nd Place) from etoppsfan (1st Place). With MLB games officially over on most of the sites, it will be interesting to see if PrimeTime can pull off some last minute heroics on FSL to secure the title of 2010 MLB Seasonal GLB Champion! There’s still plenty of time left for anyone to make a run at the NFL Title, and the NHL and NBA seasons are just getting underway!
