Of all the betting possibilities out there Saturday, none intrigue me more than UFC 303 as a hardcore fan of the sport. Although Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler wasn’t able to main event this card, Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka is a phenomenal replacement.
Pereira is the champion and is rightfully favored to win with a -140 price. The first time these two fought at UFC 295, we saw Pereira win by KO/TKO in the second round. Pereira winning by KO/TKO/DQ has odds of +110. Prochazka has a +120 moneyline price, and him winning by KO/TKO/DQ has +215 odds.
I like Prochazka to get the win and set up a third fight between these two. Pereira is one of the most intimidating fighters in UFC history, but Prochazka brought the fight to him at UFC 295. Both fighters had almost identical striking stats and had loads of power in their punches.
I don’t see this fight ending in any way but a knockout. But with both fighters having familiarity with one another, I think this fight can exceed 2.5 rounds if you want to bet a better price of +120 rather than -150 for under 2.5 rounds.
