If you’re looking to bet on Game 2 of the NBA Finals or any other game Sunday, sign up with the Fanatics Sportsbook promo using this link if you’re a new player to the platform. Whatever amount of money you wager up to $100 will see Fanatics match you in the form of a bonus bet that gets issued to your account to use over the next seven days.
Not only can you get a $100 bonus bet as soon as your first bet of the day is submitted, but you can have your first bet each of the next nine days matched as a bonus bet as well! You won’t find another sportsbook other than Fanatics where your sign-up promo span a duration of this length.
Make sure to meet these criteria to utilize your Fanatics Sportsbook promo
There are only two things you’ll need to remember to utilize this promo over the ten-day period. First, you need to opt in every day to this promo before placing your first bet. It’s an easy step to forget, but you don’t want to submit your first bet of the day and then realize it didn’t get matched because you didn’t opt in.
Second, you’ll need to meet a minimum odds requirement of -200 or longer. This is admittedly a tight requirement, as markets like the Celtics’ moneyline is off limits for your first bet Sunday. But underdog markets that would pay better are all eligible, and you can still find odds like -110 that are eligible.
Betting preview of Game 2 between the Mavericks and Celtics in the NBA Finals
After watching the Celtics handle the Mavericks in Game 1, it’s hard to bet against Boston playing well. Fanatics Sportsbook still has a reasonable spread for Dallas to cover at +7, but I think it’s likelier the Celtics cover -7 at home in another display of dominance.
The Celtics weren’t perfect in Game 1, but they looked like the more experienced and stacked team. The fact that they had as many blocks as the Mavericks did assists tells the whole story. No player was more impactful than Kristaps Porzingis, who shifted the entire momentum of the game from when he checked in halfway through the first quarter.
Even though the Celtics’ moneyline can’t be bet due to Fanatics’ odds requirement, I don’t think you can go wrong choosing them to cover the spread. I also think this game has a higher chance of going over the 214.5 point total market.
Kyrie Irving struggled in Game 1 and knows he’ll need to be better in Game 2. Dallas got a lot of good shot attempts that they ultimately just missed. If they make some more shots and take better ones, I like this to be a higher-scoring affair than Game 1.
