Welcome to this week’s Grinder Leader Board Update. Another week in the books means another week of twists and turns in the world of daily fantasy sports. I just want to start by recognizing how fast the daily fantasy realm is growing and how impressive it is to be on these leaderboards. There’s a discussion in the forums right now about how there are fewer “fish in the sea” than ever due to the wealth of knowledge and information coming from well-run sites like this one. Everyone knows the big name sleepers and there are very few uneducated gamblers joining even the cheapest leagues on any given night. So with that you are presented a bit of a predicament, to win money do you roll the dice and bet against the most popular sleepers(such as Jeremy Lin)? Or do you join the majority, take the popular pick and hope the rest of your picks exceed the rest of the field. All of these players jumping up the leaderboard are playing on a whole different level. And for that, Grinder Nation commends you.

Headliner Player Of The Week: Sojerseyhustler

Let’s start off the shout outs from the past seven days with a big shout out to the headliner of the week. Sojerseyhustler has used a plethora of double-up success on Fanduel to climb the board and win the big bucks. He went from being outside the top 100 last week to standing in 29th place overall this week, an absolutely incredible move. Great work to our headlining player this week. Beware of Sojerseyhustler and keep a look out to see if he continues his climb in the weeks coming up.

Honorable Mention Big Movers and New Players

Well we had two guys move up the board by over 10 positions, two new players and three jumps within the top 15. Starting with the movement in the #10-#15 range, there were three players who used exemplary weeks to increase their standing in the upper echelon of Grinder Nation. Heelsman, Westy, and Dinkpiece all played well enough this week to move up to #11,#12, and #14 respectively. The two biggest movers of the week were Jayhawkz274 who moved a whopping 31 spots to #44 overall, and Jmbwngfn who not only has the most difficult name to type in the history of the leaderboard but also jumped an impressive 19 spots to #46 overall. Congrats to those two guys on making the biggest moves this week and good luck continuing that success! The first new player on the board was also our headliner, Sojerseyhustler but the other guy is a returning member who had briefly fallen off the board in weeks prior. Chacha59 returned to the board and now stands at #94 overall. Let’s see if he can stay up with the top 100 with some consistency. Good luck!

Top 10 Powers Update

There was zero movement in the top ten that week, but that doesn’t mean there was nothing of note coming from the top tier players. All of these guys used continued success to maintain their place at the peak of the ranks, as players outside the top ten continue to win to try and displace them yet they remain in tact. Truly impressive when you think about all of the moves being made below them. Each and every one of the top ten members is killing it, and Grinder Nation congratulates you all on your consistent, big-time winning.
