Week 17
Note: With Week 17 being a special case where team identity and previous stats aren’t always as impactful, I’ll be narrowing the focus on some key stats for each team.
Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins Key Stats: Low Team Total / Kenyan Drake 85% snap share last week / Ryan Tannehill 1 game over 27 attempts in his last 5
This is a pretty easy situation to avoid. While Drake saw a game flow dependent high snap share last week, the Bills defense ranks 3rd in overall DVOA and this really isn’t even close to a good enough spot to play on the highly volatile Week 17 slate. With low passing game volume likely again for Tannehill, we need not dive deeper when other spots are higher upside and higher probability.
