Week 13
Welcome back to the NFL Field Stretcher for Week #13! Bye weeks are finally over in the NFL and Saturday games haven’t become a thing yet, so we have a large 13 game main slate for the first time in quite a while this week. There are a lot of options and a lot of injuries out there as we hit the stretch run of the regular season, so there’s plenty to break down. Let’s get down to business!

A few notes on the above:
1) Vegas still really likes the Packers. When you consider that Mike McCarthy’s ineptitude is probably worth a lost 2-3 points, it’s like they would be 16-17 point favorites over the Cardinals with a competent coach. The good news is that the Packers are 4-0-1 at home this year and 0-6 on the road.
2) Kansas City has an implied team total hitting FIVE touchdowns in a matchup against the listless Raiders. The problem is that we are paying hefty price tags on these guys, so we do have to weigh the risk with the team being a massive favorite. We need four quarters of action out of many of the regulars to give them a shot to hit value.
3) Tennessee sitting as a near double-digit favorite shocks me. I know the Jets are bad, but this Tennessee offense is nothing special. That’s a lot of points to give with a mediocre offensive unit.
4) A 28 point implied team total for Seattle is fairly significant, and it is warranted against a reeling 49ers team. This isn’t generally a team we LOVE to target, but they might fit that bill more in Week 13.
5) The four teams with the lowest team totals essentially qualify as abysmal offenses right now. On a 13 game slate, you can seemingly write these teams off without much risk of missing out.
