Week 4

Greetings, football fans! Welcome to Week 4, already! As a quick recap, let’s take a peek back at Week 3. Here’s what I wrote in last week’s introduction:

“The chalk hit in Week 1, and the chalk largely bombed in Week 2, which is a reminder that one week is not indicative of future performance. Leveraging ownership in GPP formats is always a potential upside move. Keep in mind – it’s already been a crazy week because… THE BROWNS WON A FOOTBALL GAME. Beer flows in Cleveland! Perhaps that’s an indicator that we have a nutty Week 3 on tap.”

And… it was a nutty Week 3 indeed. I was not surprised at that in general, but I was surprised to see the Vikings lose by three scores as 16 point home favorites. In this wild and wacky NFL, anything can happen on a weekly basis. That’s good news for those that like to think outside the box when constructing their DFS tournament lineups. Outside of the Saints/Falcons game, almost all of the chalky plays bombed last week. I’m sure it was quite a frustrating week for many of you. The good news is that we can now look forward to a new slate! Let’s see what this Week 4 slate has on tap for us.
