Sunday Showdown with Splits: Wyndham Championship
After three rounds of action at hot and humid Sedgefield Country Club, Russell Henley maintained his lead in the Wyndham Championship by shooting a 1-under 69. He holds a three-shot advantage on Tyler McCumber with six other players sitting four shots back at 11-under. Favorite Webb Simpson had his struggles on Saturday, carding an even-par 70. Henley struggled at times with his approach game losing 1.2 strokes, yet his multiple-shot cushion on the lead remains. He admitted he was a bit tentative and nervous during his round, which isn’t optimal considering the final round typically packs more pressure. As we head into another huge Sunday Showdown slate on DraftKings, so many questions need to be answered. Will Henley’s potentially tentative play justify a 10.4K price tag, and can he hold on to go wire-to-wire? Which of the chalky mid-tier to low-tier options (Kisner, Sabbatini, Grace and Sloan) have the best chance of overcoming Henley? And can Webb Simpson score low enough on his “favorite” course to justify his high price of 10.8K?
