“Swifties” will once again be heavily incentivized to tune into NFL action this upcoming Sunday, with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs playing in Super Bowl 59. Reportedly, FOX plans to show Swift on the broadcast “when appropriate” this weekend, telling the media that they would be doing a disservice to fans if they didn’t turn the camera to her viewing area on Sunday.

If you are a Swiftie looking to wager on Travis Kelce in the player prop market in the big game, we have 3 prop leans to consider for Super Bowl 59!

Super Bowl 59 – Travis Kelce Player Props

Travis Kelce OVER 5.5 Receptions (-140, FanDuel)

Kelce had an underwhelming regular season, at least by his standards, recording fewer than 6 receptions in more than half of his games. However, we saw plenty of youth and productivity from Kelce in Kansas City’s win over Houston in the Divisional round of the playoffs – catching 7 passes for 117 receiving yards. He was mostly held in check in the AFC Championship Game against the Bills, but Kelce gets a much more favorable matchup in Super Bowl 59 against the Eagles, who have been increasingly vulnerable to the tight end position of late. Philadelphia allowed Zach Ertz to secure 11 receptions in the NFC Championship Game, in addition to allowing 7 receptions to Tyler Higbee in the Divisional round. Kelce has 6+ receptions in 17 of 24 career playoff games, including 12 of 15 games since 2020. He’s capable of getting the job done.

Travis Kelce 80+ Receiving Yards (+230, FanDuel)

If betting on Kelce to have a good game, it could be worthwhile to sprinkle a little bit on his alternative receiving yardage lines. In Kelce’s previous 4 trips to the Super Bowl, he has 3 games with 80+ receiving yards and a pair of games with 90+ receiving yards. Two years ago, he had 6 receptions for 81 receiving yards against the Eagles. Philadelphia allowed 104 receiving yards to Zach Ertz during the NFC Championship Game, so there is recent proof of concept here as well. The Eagles’ defense is talented, but we have seen time and time again that Patrick Mahomes looks for Kelce when the stakes are highest. This is good value.

1989: Travis Kelce to have 19+ Receiving Yards in 1st Quarter and 89+ in the Game (+610, FanDuel)

If looking to bet on Kelce to have a strong game from start to finish, FanDuel is offering a “Swiftie Special” on Taylor Swift’s boyfriend to have 19+ receiving yards in the 1st quarter and 89+ receiving yards in the game. Of course, both parts of this bet are highly correlated. If Kelce has a big 1st quarter, he’s going to be well on his way to having a chance at 100 receiving yards for the game. Following an uncharacteristically unproductive performance in the AFC Championship Game, it wouldn’t be surprising in the slightest to see Mahomes and the Chiefs make Kelce a priority early in Super Bowl 59. This could be worth some fun money for anyone who thinks Kelce has a big game on Sunday.
