Top KBO DFS Stacks: Thursday, June 11th

I’m going to start by talking about some secondary stacks, before taking a look into the big three of NC, Doosan and Kiwoom. Lotte and Kia were the big offenses last night, and tonight’s matchups give them the opportunity to run it back.

Lotte Giants vs Min Jae Jang

Lotte is one of those teams along with Kia and Samsung that is good enough to put up some big scores like we saw from them last night, but not at the level of the top teams in the league where we can just play them in any matchup. I’m actually a little disappointed that the Giants scored 12 runs last night, as that might raise the interest in them a little more than it otherwise would have.

The main reason they are on my stacking list tonight is a matchup against Min Jae Jang and his 7.58 ERA / 4.92 FIP, following a 2019 season with decent K:BB numbers, but too many home runs and a lot of hits running him into a 5.43 ERA and 1.48 WHIP. The strikeouts are down this season for Jang, and the already low walks are down as well. This looks like a pitcher that is all about throwing strikes and hoping for the best. So far, ‘the best’ has been back-to-back games with six earned runs allowed on 20 hits in seven innings. He’s almost certainly run into bad luck here, and I don’t think he’s anywhere near this bad, but a team like Lotte can get a lot of balls in play, especially from the top four in their lineup
