Top KBO DFS Stacks: Tuesday, May 12th

I hope you all got a good night’s sleep so we can back to the new normal of waking up in the middle of the night, or maybe staying up all night, depending on how much of a partyer you are. I am quite the partyer, as I’ve started eating my nightly ice cream a little earlier than usual so I can get a few hours of sleep in before I get up and goof around with these lineups.

An important and exciting sidebar here – I wasn’t sure if I should be spelling the word ‘partyer’ or ‘partier’ for one who parties. So, I asked my friend Google. He took me to the Merriam-Webster Thesaurus, where it lists the definition of ‘partyer’ as “one who engages in merrymaking especially in honor of a special occasion”. So, yeah, I definitely want to be using the word ‘partyer’, as I was thinking mostly of merrymaking. If you’re curious, and I know you are, one of the synonyms to use is ‘roisterer’, so look for that in an upcoming episode of the KBO Mini-Musings.

The first week of KBO saw an uptick in power from last season and there are already some rumblings that perhaps the ball has been altered back to allow some more power back into the KBO. I have absolutely no insight into this at this point, and I am not about to change anything about my process after six days of baseball. What I’ll say is that power was the main thing to chase with batters, and even if something were to change overall in the league, the top power hitters would still be the top power hitters. This is something we’ll be keeping an eye on and will probably see lots of information rolling in soon on this topic.
