There is nothing quite like the joy of translating tweets from Korean two minutes before lock at 4:30 in the morning to find that a game has been postponed. It reminds me of the simpler times as a child when we would go camping in the woods and there was nothing around but the peaceful chirping of the crickets and a slight breeze blowing through the trees. I’d awake in the middle of the night to gaze at the stars, and try to find the Big Dipper or the three bright lights of Orion’s Belt. And just when all the world was perfect, a swarm of murder hornets would descend from the trees and send me screaming through the forest tripping over branches in the dark. Ah, memories.
Anyhow, on to tonight, where hopefully all the games will just play as normal like they are supposed to.
