Top KBO DFS Stacks: Wednesday, July 8th

Happy Tuesday/Wednesday! After we saw the top teams taking on some better pitchers yesterday, we are back to a bit of normalcy with the Dinos back on top of tonight’s stacking wish list. I’ve got a clear top two on my list with NC and KT and then Kiwoom as the third stackable team. From there, it gets a little dicey with teams like Doosan, LG, Samsung and SK all being viable in tournaments, but well below what I assume will be NC chalk. For health reasons, I lean to the side of chalk eating.

NC Dinos vs Geon Wook Lee

After a little bit of an unusual slate yesterday, we can get back to basics tonight with the NC Dinos checking in as the top stack. After being held somewhat in check by Seung Won Moon, the Dinos face a lesser pitcher in Geon Wook Lee. At first glance, Lee’s 3.19 ERA looks promising, but there are problems under the surface with a scary high 14.1% walk rate and a 4.74 FIP. Since entering the starting rotation, Lee has walked 21 batters in 33 innings. The Dinos don’t need any help with free baserunners, making them the easy call for top stack tonight. The one positive for Lee is that he has been stingy with home runs, but he’s also had trouble pitching deep into games, so there will still be plenty of chances for power against the bullpen.
