UFC 255: A Contrarian Take - Figueiredo vs. Perez

Happy Friday everyone, and welcome back to a Contrarian Take on MMA: UFC 255: Figueiredo vs. Perez. We had a tough card last Saturday – not difficult because of the matchups, but because we had three fights cancelled in the day leading up to the event, including Louis Smolka and Jose Quinonez cancelled minutes before lock. We did well with our takes in this article last week – Sean Strickland and Khaos Williams not only won, they appeared in the big GPP-winning lineup on DraftKings, and at less than 30% ownership on what ended up a 9-fight card. Unfortunately, my other pick was Smolka. I was able to get him out of my lineup with just minutes and hopefully anyone reading was able to as well, but it seems like now that the fights are off Fight Island, paying attention right up until lock will be absolutely necessary.

This week we have a big 12-fight card for UFC 255 featuring two five-round matchup, the Main Event between Deiveson Figueiredo and the Co-Main Event between Valentina Shevchenko and Jennifer Maia.
