Value Breakdown: The Northern Trust

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

The Northern Trust

After a somewhat lackluster event at the Wyndham last weekend, it is time for the FedEx Cup playoffs. The top golfers in the world will get together at TPC Boston for the first of three tournaments in this playoff series. We only have 125 golfers in the field this week, which means a larger percentage of the field will make the cut, and we may see a higher 6/6 percentage across our DFS lineups. With the strength of this field, there are a variety of ways to go from a roster construction standpoint. The balanced build is very viable, but there is also plenty of good golfers in the value range that will allow us to fit in some of the higher priced studs. I am looking to once again target ball strikers first and foremost, while looking at scoring as a secondary metrics. Let’s dive into some of our value options for this week.
