DraftStreet Value Picks for Week 16

You’re likely out of some of your season-long leagues by this point, which means you should have some spare time to focus on your weekly lineups. This week, I’m going to focus more on DraftStreet than I had been in the past. They have great software, roster configurations, scoring and one of the best pricing systems in the biz. Here’s a Valuable Lineup for Week 16. It consists of my Top Value pick at each of their Roster Slots and is designed to give you some cheap fill-in players that possess a high-potential for scoring this week. If you’re not yet a member of DraftStreet, make sure to use our DraftStreet Sign-Up Bonus to get going today!
A Valuable Lineup – Week 16
| Pos | Name | Salary | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| QB | Ryan Fitzpatrick (BUF-QB) | $10,717 | Fitzpatrick had a solid showing against the Pats last time they met, and they will surely be playing from behind all game which gives him a high upside. |
| QB | Matt Cassel (KC-QB) | $11,605 | I thought Tebow was a lock for this column, but Cassel is $2,000 cheaper than Tebow, and also cheaper than Grossman, so he’s my value-QB for week 16. |
| RB | Marshawn Lynch (SEA-RB) | $7,418 | He’s put up double carries and Fantasy Points the last 3 weeks now and gets the Bucs who have allowed a whopping 180+ rushing yards per game since D-tackly Gerald McCoy went down. |
| RB | Ryan Torain (WAS-RB) | $10,641 | He looks like a RB1 week in and week out now that he’s back and healthy, plus he gets the Jags this week. |
| WR | Jordan Shipley (CIN-WR) | $6,048 | With the TOchoCinco injury issues going down in Cincy, Shipley, Caldwell and Gresham stand to benefit a good amount in the fantasy world. |
| WR | Miles Austin (DAL-WR) | $8,833 | With Roy Will questionable again and a matchup vs. the Cardz, Miles Austin makes for an awesome value pick on DraftStreet this week. |
| TE | Kellen Winslow (TB-TE) | $7,696 | He’s alternating touchdowns in games lately, and has a nice matchup vs. Pete Carroll’s Seahawks. |
| FLEX | Danny Woodhead (NE-RB) | $8,084 | Woodhead could see extensive action in a potential blowout vs. Buffalo this week, and has the big play ability to make him a solid Flex play this week. |
| FLEX | Jacoby Ford (OAK-WR) | $6,272 | This guys has fantasy phenom potential. It’s a shame the Raiders can’t get him the rock more. |
| DST | Buccaneers (TB-DST) | $2,780 | DraftStreet’s defensive scoring is insignificant compared to most sites so this is where you want to go cheap. You want a team with the best chance for turnovers and TDs (as opposed to Sacks and Pts Allwd). The Bucs have 18 INTs through 14 games, and Hasselback has 17. |
| Salary Used | $80,094 |
| Salary Cap | $100,000 |
| Under the Cap Saved | $19,906 |
