Vanek's Views: DraftKings NFL DFS Picks for Week 6
Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming NFL DFS main slate on DraftKings for Week 6. A 2025 Fantasy Sports Writers Association award winner, Jordan’s deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends is a must-read before you start building your lineups.
The fact that Malik Willis and Jacoby Brissett both hit value on DraftKings last week is why the fantasy aspect of football can be a bit funny sometimes. Their performances weren’t particularly good from a real football standpoint, but their production relative to their price tags made them strong fantasy plays. This weekend brings plenty of interesting decisions, and I think there’s one overarching theme when it comes to lineup construction.
We have several elite RBs in great matchups, but paying up at the position means finding cheap value elsewhere. Fortunately, there are some cheaper passing stacks that I think have more upside than their price tags suggest. There are also a few defenses that have been getting exposed in specific areas, and I think we can take advantage of those weaknesses without forcing the most-expensive players into our lineups.
The biggest thing to get right will be identifying which WRs can break the slate and figuring out how to fit them alongside the RBs in fantastic spots. I also think this is definitely a slate where playing three RBs is very appealing.
NFL DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, WRs, & TEs for Week 6
Game Stacks
Caleb Williams ($6,200, QB, Chicago Bears)
Luther Burden III ($5,400, WR, Chicago Bears)
Rome Odunze ($4,900, WR, Chicago Bears)
Bijan Robinson ($8,700, RB, Atlanta Falcons)
This could be the cheapest we get a stack of Williams + Burden + Odunze all season. The reason I want to go here over Colston Loveland ($4,300, TE) is that the Falcons’ CB room is decimated right now. Mike Hughes is expected to be their top corner this weekend, with rookie Avieon Terrell on the opposite boundary. The advantage on the perimeter is significant, and I trust Williams to get the ball to his top WRs in this matchup.
The best part of the Bears’ run defense this season has been their offense’s ability to stay on the field. They’ve allowed 2.19 yards before contact per attempt (per Fantasy Points), which is the 5th-worst mark in the NFL. Robinson has 500 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on 71 attempts when he isn’t touched until at least 1 yard past the line of scrimmage. The Falcons will also be the best rushing offense the Bears have faced by a wide margin this season.
