Vanek's Views: DraftKings NFL DFS Picks for the Divisional Round

Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming NFL DFS main slate on DraftKings for the Divisional Round. Formerly of The 33rd Team and 4for4 Fantasy Football, Jordan’s deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends is a must-read before you start building your lineups.
There’s a lot of cold weather coming through this weekend, and our NFL weather page is very important to monitor as we get closer to each game. We have had no dome games yet this postseason, and there are a bunch of spots where the wind and cold will make an impact.
4-game playoff slates that stretch across multiple days create a ton of opportunity to late swap and react to where ownership ultimately settles. This slate is likely going to feature heavy chalk around Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Puka Nacua, and Christian McCaffrey, but beyond those “big three,” the slate opens up quite a bit and becomes far more spread out. In the playoffs, rotations tighten, workloads condense, and the best players typically see their usage spike – making it even more important to understand game environments, identify where the field is likely to follow groupthink, and build with intentional leverage.

NFL DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, WRs, & TEs for the Divisional Round
Game Stacks
Caleb Williams ($6,100, QB, Chicago Bears)
Rome Odunze ($5,300, WR, Chicago Bears)
Luther Burden III ($4,700, WR, Chicago Bears)
Kyren Williams ($6,600, RB, Los Angeles Rams)
Davante Adams ($6,500, WR, Los Angeles Rams)

The Rams have been one of the worst secondaries in the league at defending the boundary, and the Bears’ two most efficient perimeter playmakers this season have been Odunze and Burden. DJ Moore ($5,200, WR) is the main player I want to leave salary for as a late-swap option if I’m looking to get more unique. Colston Loveland ($5,500, TE) was a force last weekend, but the Rams have been one of the better teams in the NFL at defending tight ends, and they rank closer to the bottom third of the league against wide receivers.

On the other side, I expect Rams head coach Sean McVay to have his way with this Bears defense. I think it starts with Williams, especially with the cold temperatures and Matthew Stafford’s ($6,600, QB) lingering finger issue. The Bears have been one of the worst run defenses all season, and Williams should have a very efficient day.
Once the Rams get into the red zone, I think Adams will become the focal point like he has been all season. I don’t believe the Bears can cover him down there, and a multi-touchdown game wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t mind going to Puka Nacua ($9,000, WR) over Adams, but the discount on Adams helps me fit Jaxon Smith-Njigba and other premier pieces into my builds.
