Vanek's Views: DraftKings NFL DFS Picks for Week 15

Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming NFL DFS main slate on DraftKings for Week 15. Formerly of The 33rd Team and 4for4 Fantasy Football, Jordan’s deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends is a must-read before you start building your lineups.
This is the first 13-game NFL slate we’ve had in a while, and it’s loaded with appealing spots, as 12 teams carry implied totals of 24+ points, and the Rams/Lions game sits at a massive 54.5 points. There are plenty of strong game environments worth targeting, and I’ll be building around small, intentional stacks to mix in the best pieces from these matchups.
There are 7 games on the main slate carrying a yellow weather tag, and our NFL weather will break down the true impact for each spot. This is also a week where our NFL DFS projections are crucial for identifying the top values and expected chalk. With a larger slate, ownership condenses less, creating some very low-owned plays that still project extremely well.

NFL DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, WRs, & TEs for Week 15
Game Stacks
Jaxson Dart ($5,600, QB, New York Giants)
Theo Johnson ($3,500, TE, New York Giants)
Chris Rodriguez ($4,900, RB, Washington Commanders)

Dart is the best on-paper QB option this weekend, and I want to keep stacks cheap when playing him. Over the last three weeks, the Commanders have completely scrapped man coverage and are living in zone. Against zone this year, Theo Johnson is tied for the team lead in targets, and coming off the bye, this sets up perfectly, especially after we just watched the Commanders give up 3 passing TDs to J.J. McCarthy, all to TEs. I expect the Giants to mirror some of those red-zone concepts, putting Johnson in position for a touchdown or two. I don’t mind double-stacking Dart with Wan’Dale Robinson or Darius Slayton, but on a slate this big, I prefer keeping it simple and getting exposure to other game environments.
