Vikings vs. Rams – NFL Player Props

Kyren Williams OVER 13.5 Receiving Yards (-110, Bet365)

On the surface, Minnesota appears to be a very difficult matchup for opposing running backs through the air. However, the Vikings’ 5th-ranked pass DVOA against running backs has been largely built on the back of LB Blake Cashman, who will be inactive this evening. Cashman also missed this past weekend’s game against the Lions, during which the Vikings allowed RB Jahmyr Gibbs and RB David Montgomery to combine for 7 receptions and 83 receiving yards. Williams hasn’t eclipsed this number in any of his last 3 games, but Cashman’s absence could open up some opportunities. All it takes is one nice run after the catch to get the job done.

Blake Corum OVER 13.5 Rushing Yards (-110, Bet365)

Blake Corum doesn’t typically see an extensive workload out of the backfield for the Rams, but this is a very low number for a player that should see 3 to 5 carries this evening. Minnesota enters play with the league’s top-ranked run defense measured by EPA/play, success rate, and DVOA. However, LB Blake Cashman had a lot to do with that. Tonight, the Vikings will be without their leading tackler for the second consecutive week. Facing the Lions in Week 7, the Vikings allowed RB Jahmyr Gibbs and RB David Montgomery to combine for 147 rushing yards on only 24 carries. As long as Corum gets a few touches on Thursday, this is a number he is capable of clearing.

Colby Parkinson OVER 28.5 Receiving Yards (-117, Bally)

Everyone is understandably eager to bet on WR Cooper Kupp in his return to the field on Thursday, but one player who could have sneaky value in this spot is TE Colby Parkinson. Parkinson had 5 targets and 47 receiving yards in the lone game this season in which Kupp played a full allotment of snaps. He’s also been productive with Kupp on the mend, including a 7-catch game against the Packers. In fact, Parkinson enters play tonight tied for the team lead in targets this season. This is a low number for a player who is likely to still be a significant part of what the Rams are trying to do offensively.
