Week 10 NFL Injury Breakdown
Injuries can play a crucial role in your season long leagues and some of the same waiver wire concepts apply in DFS as well. RotoGrinders will have a weekly injury report highlighting the key injuries across the league and possible value plays that can pop up because of them.
Quarterback
Tony Romo (Back) Probable
Romo practiced in full on Friday and is officially probable this week against the Jaguars. He obviously is not 100%, so the Cowboys are likely to lean on Murray a quite a bit in this one.
Aaron Rodgers (Hamstring) Probable
Michael Vick (Foot) Probable
Blake Bortles (Wrist) Probable
Running Back
Rashad Jennings (Knee) Out
Jennings is has been ruled out for Week 10 and Andre Williams will once again get the start for the Giants. He appears to be targeting a return in Week 11, as he did get some work in this week.
Doug Martin (Ankle) Doubtful
Martin is not going to play this week and Bobby Rainey is going to be the lead back for Tampa Bay. Charles Sims is also expected to get some work, but he won’t be enough of a factor to play him.
Fred Jackson (Groin) Questionable
It is looking less likely the Jackson is going to play this week for the Bills. Anthony Dixon will be the main back for Week 10,with Jackson likely to return next week.
Lamar Miller (Shoulder) Questionable
Despite the questionable tag, local writers have him closer to probable for this one. The Dolphins are playing in an early game, so we will have an answer prior to lineup lock.
Mark Ingram (Shoulder) Questionable
Ingram was able to get some limited practice in on Friday and appears to be more likely to play at this point. With Thomas and Robinson out, he will see a good amount of carries for the Saints. This is another early game, so keep an eye on the Saints inactives.
Marshawn Lynch (Calf) Probable
Andre Ellington (Foot) Probable
Reggie Bush (Ankle) Probable
Wide Receiver
Sammy Watkins (Groin) Questionable
If we believe the coach, then Watkins is not likely to go this week. The Bills play in an early game, so you will have clarity prior to roster lock. Trusting any other Bills receiver is risky at best.
Harry Douglas (Foot) Questionable
Douglas is expected to return for the Falcons despite the questionable tag. He is a risk, since he is not going to be completely healthy for this one, but he should open up things for Julio Jones and Roddy White.
Vincent Jackson (Knee) Questionable
Jackson practiced in full on Friday and appears to be ready to go this week for Tampa. Jackson is always a boom-or-bust candidate and is even more so with the QB switch back to Josh McCown.
Calvin Johnson (Ankle) Probable
Not often is a probable WR so heavily watched. Everything is pointing to him being completely healthy, and so you can feel confident rostering him this week. His price is severely depressed in a couple places, making him an easy play.
Doug Baldwin (Groin) Probable
Kenny Stills (Thigh) Probable
Cecil Shorts (Hamstring) Probable
Tight End
Martellus Bennett (Ribs) Questionable
Bennett has missed quite a bit of practice this week, but is still expected to have a good shot at playing. The Bears don’t play until the Sunday night game, meaning we won’t have clarity on this situation, so he is best deployed on late-swap-only sites.
Jimmy Graham (Shoulder) Probable
Owen Daniels (Knee) Probable
Charles Clay (Knee) Probable
