Week 11 Kings: QBs & RBs

Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers ($9,400) – The quarterback position is absolutely loaded for week 11 as nearly all the top tier quarterbacks have elite match-ups. Of all the top dogs this week, Aaron Rodgers is the guy I want. The Packers will be at home facing the fast paced Eagles. The over/under in this game is sitting at 55, with the Packers favored by six. Rodgers is averaging 28 fantasy points at home this season, and the week 11 match-up with the Eagles might be the best one yet. Of all the quarterbacks that haven’t missed a game, Rodgers is averaging the most fantasy points per attempt as shown in the RotoGrinders’ Advanced Player Stats. With the extra snaps versus the uptempo Eagles, Rodgers could have a monster day.

Tom Brady ($9,800) – The critics were ready to write off Tom Brady a few weeks back, but he then caught fire and showed that he is still an elite QB. Brady really kicked it into gear when the snap count on Gronkowski was lifted. Since that point, Brady has averaged over 30 fantasy points and the Patriots have looked like one of the best offenses in the NFL. This week’s game with the Colts features an over/under of 57.5, indicating that this game should turn into a shootout.

Drew Brews ($8,300) – Brees is priced at least $1,100 less than all the other top tier quarterbacks this week. Brees and the Saints will be at home facing the struggling Bengals. The Bengals defense has taken a huge step back this season and you can expect Brees to exploit their weaknesses this week at home. As we all know, Brees and the Saints play much better at home; I expect them to hang a huge offensive number this week.

Mark Sanchez ($5,800) – If you want to save at the quarterback position, Mark Sanchez is your man. Sanchez was very impressive in his first start as the Eagles quarterback, throwing for 332 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. Sanchez was able to total 24 fantasy points on Monday night, but the more important part was that he actually looked polished and composed in doing so.

GPP

Peyton Manning ($9,900) – I have a feeling that Peyton Manning will be under owned this week due to an unappealing match-up. All the other top tier quarterbacks are playing in projected high scoring, close games and that simply is not the case for Peyton Manning. The Broncos land a week 11 match-up up with the lifeless St. Louis Rams, however, these seem to be the games that Peyton Manning goes crazy. Obviously, Peyton makes for a great cash game play as well.

Running Back

Le’Veon Bell ($7,200) – Bell has not been able to get anything going on the ground in the past two weeks (21 carries for 56 yards). He has, however, been so active in the passing game that his game logs have looked decent. Bell has at least five receptions in the last four games and 55 on the season. Bell is a very good building block for your cash game lineups.

Arian Foster ($8,500) – The injury Foster suffered in week nine was not very serious and he should be a full go this week. I have Foster ranked as my number one overall running back this week. The Cleveland Brown defense ranks in the middle of the pack in terms of defending the run. Foster’s touches are so high on a weekly basis due to Houston’s inability to pass the ball.

Shane Vereen ($5,500) – Much like Le’Veon Bell, Vereen is only in play on full PPR site such as Draftkings. Vereen is a cheap way to get exposure to the projected high scoring game between IND/NE (over/under 57.5). In the Patriots last game, Vereen saw a very healthy ten targets.

Mark Ingram ($6,200) – Mark Ingram’s price is starting to rise after solid production in back to back games. In the past two games, Ingram has seen over 30 touches and has averaged over 20 fantasy points per game. If Pierre Thomas is sidelined yet again this week, Ingram will see another week with a very increased workload. The match-up is solid against the Bengals who have been getting destroyed on the ground.

GPP

Jamaal Charles ($7,100) – Jamaal Charles will be under owned this week due to a tough match-up with the Seattle Seahawks. However, if you dig a little deeper you will see that the Seahawks defense has actually been below average away from home this season. For cash games, it’s best to avoid Charles, but he is definitely in play for GPPs.
