Week 13 Kings: WRs & TEs
Wide Receiver
Antonio Brown ($9,000) – If you are planning to spend at the wide receiver position, Antonio Brown is the best option. Brown is the most consistent wide receiver in the NFL and has a great week 13 match-up with the Saints. To find other consistent players, check out RotoGrinders’ NFL Consistency Stats. The Saints are surrendering the sixth most fantasy points to the wide receiver position this season. Additionally, this game has a very attractive over/under at 53.
A.J. Green ($8,200) – Green has been producing at an elite level since returning from injury. Last week Green hauled in a career high 12 receptions on 16 targets. Green’s week 13 match-up is very soft against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who rank as the eighth worst team at defending wide receivers. Green’s price tag is still slightly discounted, which makes week 13 a great time to invest.
Vincent Jackson ($5,300) – Vincent Jackson is too cheap on Draftkings. Jackson is currently ranked in the top ten with 103 targets on the season. The issue with Jackson is the fact that all the Buccaneers’ passing touchdowns have gone to Mike Evans. However, his price tag does not necessarily require a touchdown, at just $5,300; a high reception game is all we are looking for.
Kenny Stills ($4,800) – Stills proved on Monday night that he is capable of picking up some of the production that Bradin Cooks can no longer provide due to injuiry. In his first game with a much bigger role, Stills turned in a very solid eight reception, 98 yard performance. The Steelers defense still has some key injuries. Stills is a very solid week 13 value play.
GPP
Demaryius Thomas ($9,500) – Thomas will be under owned this week due to his very high price tag and perceived tough match-up. Most players will simply avoid the $9,500 price tag. These factors make Thomas a great week 13 GPP play. The Manning/Thomas has proved to us over and over that they are match-up proof players that are capable of monstrous performances.
Tight End
Rob Gronkowski ($7,800) – Arguably the best tight end in the NFL, playing in a game with an over/under of 59… Yes, Please!!! This is a very simple recommendation, Gronk and Jimmy Graham are leaps and bounds ahead of the other NFL tight ends, and therefore working one into your roster is a great strategy. This week Gronk gets the nod due to the better game environment.
Coby Fleener ($4,700) – Fleener was one of the top values plays last week and he completely disappointed us all. With just two catches for 28 yards Fleener was one of the bigger busts last week, however, if Dwayne Allen remains sidelined you might want to give him another chance. The Indianapolis Colts have one of the league’s best offenses and as we saw a couple week ago Fleener is capable of playing a big role (seven receptions, 144 yards).
Larry Donnell ($4,000) – Much like Fleener, Donnell was another hyped value play that disappointed last week. Donnell draws a great match-up with the Jacksonville Jaguars in week 13. Things should open up for Donnell as teams scheme to take the red hot Odell Beckham out of the equation.
GPP
Antonio Gates ($4,200) – Gates is strictly a GPP only play for me. Gates has had endless disappointing weeks; however he has had a few monster games, which keeps him relevant for GPP purposes. The match-up is not great against Baltimore, however Gates best performance of the season came against the stingy defense of the Seattle Seahawks.
