Weekly Course Analysis: Trophee Hassan II

Each week, Sean O’Donnell will break down the course in detail to figure out which golfers will be in the best position to succeed.

Trophee Hassan II

This week presents a particularly difficult challenge, with our DFS operators and PGA Tour normalcy abandoning us for their “team” event in New Orleans, and we are left with DraftKings offerings for the Trophee Hassan II Tournament on the European Tour.

Euro tour events are offered many weeks on DraftKings, but rarely do they get the front-and-center treatment that they have this week. This comes with boosted prize pools for the big tournaments, and a good incentive to spend some time digging into the statistics and trying to find some diamonds in the rough … that might find the fairways more than their opponents this week!

The European Tour is famous for presenting traditionally more rugged conditions than most of the normal PGA Tour events, and this week will be a classic example of that. The course on the coast of Morocco luckily will not present any of the traditional dreary conditions that Europe can present this time of year, but the course will still present a strong test for the entire field.
