Hey there Grinders, and welcome to my first ever Weekly Rankings Update! I have to say, I give D4 a ton of credit for putting these and the R&G together every day, becuase it’s not easy coming up with something to write about night in and night out. I’m torn because I loved the gif-themed humor that D4 brought to the series, and frankly I think we share a pretty similar sense of humor, but I’m not sure I can live up to the legend.

The style of these articles will probably evolve over time, but for now I’m just going to have some fun with it and see where it goes. Hopefully you enjoy it, because I’m sure next week there are going to be a ton of huge movers on these leaderboards. But enough of that, on to the rankings!

Tournament Player of the Year Leaderboard

Not a big surprise to see McJester still at the top of the standings, but ffganzinator and drolson22 join the group of only 7 grinders to have cracked the 10k mark. Call me crazy, but I think we can expect to see a few movers and shakers next week once the results from all the massive tournaments from last night get included. Don’t be surprised if you see Sports_25toLife make a huge jump into the leaderboard and McJester take an even bigger lead with the incredible 25 lineups that he cashed in the DK Bank Shot.

A year ago I would have told you that a weeks like this for McJester and Sports_25toLife would lock up their spot in TPOY standings, but with FanDuel announcing their mind-boggling WFBC week events, it should truly be a battle right up to the end. One huge score like that could change the whole game, kinda like this beautiful play from the first time the Giants beat the Patriots in the Superbowl.

There’s only a few weeks left in the NBA season, so it’s pretty clear at this point that Condia has the top spot under wraps. If someone were to overtake him at this point I would be more surpised than these guys were:

Outside of that there’s plenty of room for movement in the top 25. Will csuram88 make a big jump in volume now that he’s a full time player? As the Neutral President from Futurama would say, “All I know is my gut says maybe.”

Lowkey overtakes ehafner for the top spot this week in what D4 deemed a minor upset. Other than that there isn’t much movement of note on the NHL leaderboard, other than the arrival of RG’s own Pepsi7 at the 25 spot.

A few minor moves at the top, with dinkpiece moving up to the 3 spot. But the biggest jump seems to be BirdWings jumping from 14 all the way to the 6 slot. The gap between 5th and 14th is only 5k, so a lot can happen when the standings update from the past few day’s tournaments.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see McJester jump into the top 3 out of no where once this week’s games update, because he is to DFS what Chuck Norris is to Super Mario
