What’s up Grinders! Welcome to the RotoGrinders Weekly Rankings Update. The World Cup kicked off today, and with it the DraftStreet Big Score, and we’re just a few weeks from the MLB All Star Break (aka the DFS wasteland). But until then there are plenty of huge tournaments across the industry to shake up the rankings, so let’s get right to it!

Notes

McJester takes back the top spot back from stlcardinals84 this week after a few good finishes in the Monster and the Qualifiers. For a guy who didn’t really know much about baseball before the season started, he’s sure picked it up quickly.

DraftCheat’s legendary night on Monday (or maybe I should say week, since he won the DSBC Q a few nights later too) doesn’t seem to have factored in yet, because he only moved up one spot in the rankings, but it was still a 2000 point gap between 4th and 5th a week ago. It should be interesting to see how much ground he makes up when the rest of the results come in for this week.

Notes

It seems like BirdWings and ehafner are running away with the top two spots in the baseball rankings, expanding their lead on third place dinkpiece to over 11,000 points. Of course, BirdWings is also one of the finalists in the DraftStreet Heavy Hitters bracket challenge that is going on right now. He’s down 3-0 as of this writing, but there’s no arguing that he is one of the best DFS MLB players out there.

Notes

No real surprises in the monthly leaderboard, with usual suspects Notorious and BirdWings topping the standings. Notorious has made quite a splash in the last few weeks to take the top spot in the monthly rankings away from BirdWings. I am, however surprised to see a few relatively unknown names on this list while not seeing guys like Al Smizzle on here at all.
