What’s up Grinders? Welcome to the final July edition of the Weekly Rankings Update. I skipped the update last week since there wasn’t that much action around the All Star Break, and I have to admit, it felt kinda weird.

But don’t you worry, there has been plenty of action since then, with a few more major qualifieres and the Mid Summer Classic in the books, there should be plenty of action in the coming weeks and months. So please, buckle up, put your tray tables up and your seats back in the full upright positon, because the TPOY race is about to take off!

Notes

The TPOY race might look like a two horse race at the moment, but with so many of the top players having locked up seats to the championship events, a few big wins could easily swing the standings in anyone’s direction. Then again, McJester has won like a billion seats to those finals too, so there’s always that. The fact that McJ has never played DFS baseball before makes his GPP domination that much more impressive.

Notes

BirdWings is the Condia of baseball. The only difference is that BirdWings is just a really good MLB DFS player, while Condia is obviously a robot in cahoots with the major sites to cheat us all out of our money. At least that’s what the tin foil hat guys tell me.

In all seriousness though, for a guy that plays mostly cash games, his success in the rankings is pretty remarkable.
