What’s up Grinders? Welcome to the final July edition of the Weekly Rankings Update!

It’s hard to belive but the FanDuel World Fantasy Baseball Championships is only a couple weeks away, which will start a couple weeks of live final championship action! Obviously these games will have a major impact on the overall and TPOY standings, but with NFL right around the corner I expect there to be quite a few shifts in the near future.

This week we have some of the usual characters continuing their DFS domination, a prolific Grinders Live host’s glorious return to the leaderboard, and an established GPP player inching ever so closer to the top spot of the TPOY rankings.

So let’s get to it, shall we?

Notes

The big news here is our boy billsfan777 cracking the top 100! As you know, Bills is a top notch DFS player, an on-air host for our Grinders Live shows, and possesses the most beautiful locks of any Jays-stacking Canadian you’ll ever meet.

Bills has been in the top 100 before, and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see him slowly move up the rankings throughout the rest of the year. Big congrats, Billsfan!

Tournament Player of the Year Leaderboard

Notes

For most of this year, the TPOY leaderboard has been a one-man show, with McJester running away with the top spot. His NBA domination (including taking down all three top spots in the StarStreet PFBC) gave him a pretty sizable leading heading into the MLB season, but it was still very early in the year.

Enter stlcardinals84. This guy is an absolute force in MLB DFS. He started off the season with an epic run on FanDuel where it seemed like he won the Monster every single night, and he’s had another few huge nights recently taking down the Golden Glove on DK twice over the past few days.

With College Football and the NFL rapidly approaching, there will be a lot of chances for people to make a run, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see Cards take the short leap to the #1 spot in the coming months.

Notes

The month of July has come to a close, and it’s no surprise to see the MLB DFS mogul BirdWings at the top of the leaderboard by quite a large margin. If you’re learning MLB, I highly recommend studying his lineups, because I don’t think you’ll find a more consistent player in all of DFS.
