Weekly Rankings Update: February Wrap-Up

Welcome back to this week’s update honoring the biggest winners in all of Grinder Nation. As February is a shortened month, this is actually the last weekly update for the month and with that comes a new list of the hottest players in the past 25 days or so. Overall, the leaderboard didn’t have a huge number of changes this week but there were a small number of guys who made big leaps. With the NBA taking the majority of the action, and the NHL/CBB games playing supplemental roles, the ability to move up the board is becoming more and more difficult. So let’s take a look at this weeks big stories and see what’s going on in Grinder Nation.

Headline Story: Jackandsoda, Socrdave, and Beastin Make Double-Digit Jumps Up The Leaderboard

The biggest story of the week comes from the only three guys who were able to move up more than 10 places in the past seven days. In fact, these three guys were the only ones to make jumps of more than four positions. It was a slow week for motion in the ocean, but these three players went above and beyond and snatched our headline story. Jackandsoda used a 14 spot bump from 71st place overall and now sits at 57th. Socrdave used that same 14 place bump to find himself from 78th place to the 64 hole. And Beastin went from being a new member of the overall leaderboard to moving up 13 places from 99th to 86th. All these guys managed to make big moves in a week where most of the top 100 dug their feet in and worked hard to maintain their standing. Big congratulations to these guys, in a week of little change they managed to continue their hot streaks and increase their position in the elite class of Grinder Nation. Keep up the good work guys.

Top 10 Update: Grinders Dig Deep As Top Ten Stay In Tact

There were no changes in the top 10 this week, as all the players continued to win at an impressive pace and maintain their spot in the upper echelon of the GLB Leaderboard. Rudzia stays in the top spot for the fourth consecutive week, with Condia, Maxdalury, Beermakersfan and Hixvillehunk rounding out the top five(2-5 respectively.) It goes without saying, but these players continue to be the cream of the crop in the daily fantasy game and continue to be the most feared players around. Congrats again to the top ten and keep on representing RotoGrinders well by winning a boatload of money.

One New Addition: Welcome to the Board, Drewboski

The only player who joined the leaderboard this week is Drewboski who used some big wins to secure the 94th place overall. It takes a truly hot player to join the incredible group of players represented here each week, and the new additions always seem to find themselves climbing higher as they continue streaking. Hopefully, Drewboski can continue his success and make another large leap in the week upcoming. We can also hope that there are some other players beneath the top 100 who are working hard to put themselves in the leaderboard update next week as newcomers. Congrats again to Drewboski and I look forward to an influx of new players next week when March kicks off.

February Short In Days, Not In Winnings

Last week I spoke about the impressive move of Ohmsy up to the top ten, and the monthly leaderboard reflects how well he played to get there. He took the third overall spot for the month of February(behind Rudzia55 and Condia) and used the big month to make himself known at the peak of Grinder Nation. Sojerseyhustler, whose huge month sparked his entrance into the top 100, took the 7th spot for February. Further, there were four players who sit in the top 25 for the month who are not yet in the top 100 overall. TeamSleep took 15th, Leonem took 16th, LegendaryMo snagged 20th, and Rooks19 grabbed 22nd for the month of February and look to be hot players who can’t be more than a week or two from making themselves known in that top 100 overall. Great job to all these guys and to all of you who had a big February. Hopefully the month of March will continue to be successful for all of these guys as well as a new group of players looking to cement their legacy as a DFS Star.
