Whits23 Shakes Up Top 10; Moves Up To #8
Welcome to this week’s edition of the RotoGrinders Ranking Update. I’m sure most of you are in the midst of absorbing as much college basketball as humanly possible in preparation for the NCAA tournament, so I will try and keep this brief. This week’s stories are led by a change within the top ten, three players making impressive moves, and four guys joining or rejoining our leaderboard. In a week filled with a ton of small movement around the overall board, the headline guys went above and beyond to stand out. While there were a ton of guys making small jumps up the board, I can’t get to all of you so let it be known that we at RotoGrinders are proud to have you representing us in the daily fantasy game. Now let’s get to our major stories.
Headline Story: Whits23 Jumps 2 Spots To #8 Overall
As I mentioned, this week was outlined by a number of small jumps by numerous players up and down the board. One of those small jumps is a bit deceiving though. Whits23 was able to move from 10th place to 8th place, and anytime someone is able to move up the top ten they are playing at the peak of their game. The upper echelon of our leaderboard is reserved for the best of the best, and displacing one of them from their standing is no small feat. So congratulations to Whits23 who is reaping the rewards of a successful week, and congratulations on being our headline story this week! Keep it up, I want to see you in the top 5 soon!
This Week’s Biggest Jumps: Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals
There were two players this week who made double digit leaps up the board, and one guy who made a nine place move upward. Just one place away from joining the group of players moving up double digits, Redzone187 used a great week to take the bronze medal for Grinder Nations movers and shakers this week. He pushed up from 95th place to stand at 86th, a nine place improvement. Congratulations to Redzone187 and let’s see if he can hit that double-digit mark next week as he continues to improve. Dsipl77 takes our silver medal for the second biggest jump of the week. He moved up 13 places to 67th overall, and is a couple of strong weeks away from entering the top 50. Great work Dsipl77! And…drum roll please…our gold medal goes to….Rallycap! Rallycap rose above all and found himelf solidly in the top fifty players overall, using a 16 place jump to go from 61st to 45th place. Congrats on the gold medal and congrats on your great week Rallycap, keep it up and see if you can defend your title next week.
Four New Names To The Leaderboard: 2 New Players, 2 Returning
In recent weeks the number of new players on the GLB has been declining. This week we broke away from that trend and had four players burst onto the scene. Two of those guys are returning top 100 members, and two haven’t been on the board at least in my time here. Rooks19 re-enters the board at 91st overall, representing the highest ranking of these four newbies. Beni144 is the other returning member, using a big week to move back to 96th place overall. It’s always interesting to see if these guys can hang on and stay with us a bit longer in the cream of daily fantasy sport’s crop. The first truly new player is SiCKNeSs who is hanging on just barely at #100. I don;t know what’s a bigger challenge; repeatedly typing SiCKNeSs or remaining in the top 100 while holding the final place. Either way, SiCKNeSs has his work cut out this week to remain on the board, so good luck moving forward! The other new member to the VIP top 100 club is Kg27. He enters the GLB at 94th overall and is definitely a talented player with big move potential. Keep an eye out for all these guys in the week(s) ahead and see how their play progresses.
