2025 WM Phoenix Open Weather Report and Forecast

PGA golfer Scheffler

The weather is perfect for golf as we tee off for the WM Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, AZ.

As usual in my golf weather forecasts, we’re focusing more on wind than rain. While rain can halt play if it’s heavy enough, it also helps soften and slow the course, which helps as much as it hurts.

With wind, there’s no helpful side; it’s all negative impact. And the impact can lead to dramatic differences in scoring. My goal is always to try to highlight the time frame with the lightest winds and the time frame with the strongest winds to see if there’s a cumulative advantage for one wave over another.

You can then use this to your advantage when making your picks on the best DFS sites.

WM Phoenix Open Weather Forecast

Thursday, February 6th

Perfection: calm winds between 0-5 mph all day long, mild temps, no precipitation.

Friday, February 7th

Another day where max winds will only reach around 5 mph, no weather worries.

Saturday, February 8th

The weather stays great through the weekend, with 0-5 mph winds and no rain.

Sunday, February 9th

Closing it out with one final day of perfect weather, calm winds, and no weather worries.

WM Phoenix Open Weather Thoughts

We have ideal weather every single day. Winds in the early morning might be 1 or 2 mph lighter than they will be by midday, but even peak winds should only top out around 5 mph, so I don’t see any weather worries or weather advantages to be had here.
