Tuesday, March 13th

Point Guard

Dennis Smith Jr. at New York Knicks $19
Milos Teodosic at Chicago Bulls $10
Emmanuel Mudiay vs. Dallas Mavericks $10

I like saving at the position tonight and it all starts with DSJ in an amazing spot against the defense of Mudiay and Burke. DSJ is averaging over a fantasy point per 36 more with Wes off the floor this season and with an amazing matchup against the Knicks who are allowing the sixth most FPTS per game over the last four weeks to PG’s, it’s hard for him to disappoint. Teodosic is minimum price and just played 3 minutes in the Clippers last game which is a recent high for him. The Bulls point guard defense is atrocious and ranks as the eight best matchup in DvP over the past four weeks, making him an easy play at the minimum. Mudiay is hit or miss, but is trending up after two solid games and should be on your radar in GPP’s as he has a slightly higher ceiling than Teodosic at the same price.

Shooting Guard

Jrue Holiday vs. Charlotte Hornets $35
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope vs. Denver Nuggets $21
Tyler Dorsey vs. Oklahoma City Thunder $10

Jrue just racks up the statistics night in night out, and a home matchup against the Hornets who are allowing the 7th most FPTS per DVP to SG over the past four weeks does nothing to sway me away from him. KCP has been the bees knees with Ingram out and is at least $5 too cheap given his inanely high minutes floor he currently has (At least 37 minutes in 5 straight). Dorsey is a big beneficiary of Bazemore being out and the Hawks trying to tank. He has taken double digit shot attempts in four straight games and should do that once again tonight with 25-30 minutes no matter how the game plays out.

Small Forward

LeBron James at Phoenix Suns $54
Kyle Kuzma vs. Denver Nuggets $22
Jonathon Simmons at San Antonio Spurs $17

Cleveland is having a hard time playing defense right now, and seemingly are unable to blow anyone out right now. This makes LeBron an extremely attractive buy today as the Suns have allowed the most fantasy points per game as a team over the past four weeks which undoubtedly will suit the King’s game to a tee tonight. Kuzma’s price has crept up a few bucks, but that won’t deter me as he has at least 37 minutes in four straight games while beating his salary tonight in all four of them. Simmons’s matchup is not good going on the road against the Spurs, but with Gordon and Fournier still out and three straight 34 minute games with solid production, he makes an intriguing low owned GPP play tonight.

Power Forward

Anthony Davis vs. Charlotte Hornets $58
Julius Randle vs. Denver Nuggets $31
Jonathan Isaac at San Antonio Spurs $11

Davis is clearly on another level fantasy wise than any other player right now, giving you the highest ceiling we have ever seen in DFS. Do you think Marvin Williams or Frank Kaminsky can slow him down? He is worth the spend in any format. Randle has seen 30% usage in each of his past two games, double digit shot attempts in every game for a month and a half and has really turned the corner with shot selection this season. He provided 50+ fantasy point upside at a price cheaper than the rest of the second tier stars at the position. Issac is a cheap GPP play as his defensive ability allows him to post big games with 3 points for blocks and steals even in a tough on paper matchup against the Spurs.

Karl-Anthony Towns at Washington Wizards $42
Brook Lopez vs. Denver Nuggets $21
Kyle O’Quinn vs. Dallas Mavericks $12

KAT should play 38-40 minutes in what should be a closely contested road game tonight in Washington. The Wizards are reasonably good against Center, but do you really think an old Gortat has any chance of keeping with Towns in this game. Lopez is having a late season revival as the Lakers look to have a solid team tight now, and with 32-34 minutes in three straight games which included a 44 fantasy point performance against the Nuggets on the 9th, he is clearly underpriced. O’Quinn is GPP only unless Kanter gets ruled out again, and with 30+ fantasy points in three of his last four games can easily crush his salary for you as a cheap flier.
