Point Guard
Russell Westbrook vs Chicago Bulls: $58
Kris Dunn at Oklahoma City Thunder: $15
T.J. McConnell at Los Angeles Lakers: $15
I have been super down on Russ the entire year so far, but tonight could be a premier spot, especially if Melo sits out. Melo soaks up so much usage that obviously when he is out the usage has to go somewhere and I love the idea of using Russ and PG together out there soaking up all those bumps. PG is coming off his best stretch of the year and finally looks like he fits with the new surroundings. Russ in attack mode is one of the best things in the world to have on your side as we saw last year when he owned the world the entire season. I want to make sure Melo sits for sure, but if he does both Russ and PG are locks for me tonight the issue is if Melo plays I don’t think we can use Russ, so it is a huge piece of info. Dunn and McConnell are way too cheap tonight and excellent cheap options. Dunn goes against Russ and OKC and fits this type of game perfectly with his ability to battle on defense and play a scrappy brand of hoops. McConnell is never going to be a huge usage guy, but he is more than safe and a great option tonight against Lonzo and the Lakers.
