Vegas didn’t strain themselves when coming up with these prop lines because through three games, Reed’s per game average is 4.6 receptions and 56 receiving yards. It’s well-documented how badly this Saints secondary has been burned, but for all the negative press there’s no mention of their prowess at defending the tight end.
In the 20 games dating back to the start of the 2017 season, opposing TEs have exceeded 4 receptions just once (Gronk) and 55+ receiving yards just twice (Gronk and Vernon Davis). The Saints 3.5 receptions and 36.8 receiving yards allowed per game to Tight Ends are both best in the league since 2017.
