Stack Projections (THE BAT X)
Top Stacks is a quick-and-dirty way of seeing which teams have the best value on today’s slate and may be good to stack. PTS/$ and CEILING PTS/$ are the average of the top 25 stacks (5-man for DK, 4-man for FD) for each team as a means of seeing which teams’ best stacks have the most point-per-dollar value. OWN_AVG is the average ownership of each player in each of these stacks. OWN_MULT is the ownership of each of those players multiplied together. This is the best way of calculating lineup ownership, since even a single 1% player will make your lineup very different, even if the additive ownership is exactly the same. “Top Stacks” are derived by looking at the the best stacks for today’s slate ranked by Total Points/$ for all players in the stack combined. So if, say, the Dodgers have “20” in “TOP_25_STACKS”, it means that of the 25 best stacks ((5-man for DK, 4-man for FD) according to Points/$, stacks with players from the Dodgers make up 20 of those best 25 lineups. If a team has a lot of Top Stacks and/or a high Pt/$ and is projected to be too low-owned, they could be a strong option to be heavier than the field on in your GPPs.
