Weather Ratings - Week 2
Weather is one of the most underrated aspects of football analysis. High winds can seriously hamper a passing game, while playing with no wind or in a dome provides a huge boost. Weather is a big component of THE BLITZ during the regular season, and it seems even more important during the pre-season, which is riddled with uncertainty. While we’re making educated guesses about playing time and have a tough time gauging the exact quality of backup players, weather is one factor we can assess with 100% certainty. In a game with so many unknown factors, knowing one absolute is a big deal. To capitalize on this, each week I’ll provide a rating for each game’s weather conditions.
