In the realm of streaming confidence, not all fans are sold on Netflix’s ability to handle the big game. Only 15% of fans are entirely confident that Netflix will deliver a touchdown-worthy experience without hiccups.
Meanwhile, 31% are moderately hopeful, sitting on the fence but with a cautious eye on potential streaming glitches.
On the flip side, a combined 66% express some level of doubt, showing Netflix has room to earn fans’ trust on game day

When it comes to streaming more NFL and live sports on Netflix, fans are divided. About 28% are eager to see Netflix expand its roster with more game days, showing enthusiasm for more sports content.
In contrast, 17% strongly oppose the idea, preferring classic streaming content over game day excitement. With 9% also demonstrating opposition to the streaming giant’s move into the live sports world.
Fan Bases That Don’t Want More NFL and Live Sports on Netflix
Survey results show Vikings fans leading once again, this time in their reluctance toward Netflix expanding into sports.

To gauge fan sentiment, we partnered with Research Without Barriers – RWB for this survey. Conducted online between November 20th and November 25th, 2024, we reached out to a sample of 3,016 NFL fans from across the U.S. The research followed the MRS Codes of Conduct (2023) and adhered to the ICC/ESOMAR World Research Guidelines. RWB, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, ensured full compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act (2018), safeguarding participant data and its integrity.
