Daily Pitch Types FAQ
The Daily Pitch Types tool shows you the average velocity of each pitch a certain pitcher throws and how often he throws that pitch.
The % columns display the percentage of time that pitcher throws that particular pitch, while the v columns show the velocity in MPH.
- FB – Fastball
- SL – Slider
- CT – Cutter
- CB – Curveball
- CH – Changeup
- XX – “Other”
