Catcher vs Pitcher Type
The Batter vs. Pitcher Type tool uses exclusive data from Inside Edge that categorizes each pitcher based on a number of factors including their main pitch type, pitch velocity, command, and more. Then, each hitter’s statistics are tracked against those particular pitcher types so we can track exactly how each hitter fares against the type of pitcher he is facing that day. This is an incredible way to go beyond basic splits and give yourself that extra edge that most daily fantasy baseball players don’t have access to.
