FanDuel MLB Batter Comparison Tool
Enter two players in today’s games and quickly compare their key stats to see which is a better statistical play. All fantasy point totals are site-specific and salaries for each player you enter are shown here as well. The key stat used is fantasy points per at bat, which is an equalizing stat that connects DFS abilities to player stats.
NOTES FOR USING THIS TOOL:
1) Enter each player in the YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED BOXES below. Do not edit any other areas. If you do, you can refresh and the page will be restored to its original state.
2) If a players stats show “NA” or “NONE” that indicates that the player does not have any statistics in the given time period or split. In these situations, no ‘advantage’ is given to either player in the comparison chart.
3) FP/AB Stats do not include runs scored for BvP splits so those numbers may be a bit lower than others.
- FP/AB – Fantasy Points Per At Bat
- FPPG – Fantasy Points Per Game. Based on 4 AT BATS to create even player comparison.
- $/FP – Player Salary Divided By Fantasy Points Per Game For Each Stat. This is a measure of value for the player comparison. Lower $/FP numbers indicate better value.
- Highest FP Output – Highest Fantasy Point Output for Given Site – Based on the averages of the stats used below.
- Best Value Play – Based on the $/fantasy point values below. Found by dividing player salary by total fantasy output.

We also include FPPG stats, with game stats set to a constant number of 4 at bats. So the FPPG number for each stat category above is just 4 times the FP/AB total.
Last, it’s all about value in daily fantasy, so this tool applies the fantasy point per game totals in each category and gives you a $/fantasy point value rating. This will be used to decide which player is the best play in your lineup!
